Meet Dr. Matthew Rogers
Dr. Matthew Rogers has been practicing dentistry since 2015. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Michigan-Flint before attending dental school at the University of Detroit-Mercy. After graduating from UDM in 2015, Dr. Rogers commissioned in the United States Air Force and was selected for an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency prior to serving 3 additional years on active duty. While stationed at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia Dr. Rogers served as a general dentist, deployed to Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria, and provided mentorship to other Air Force dentists as a faculty member in the clinic’s Dental Residency program.
Dr.Rogers considers himself a lifelong learner having completed hundreds of hours of Continuing Education courses. He is passionate about working together with his patients and recognizing their unique needs so that he can provide the best treatment options available. Dr. Rogers is dedicated to utilizing the most advanced technology available in order to help optimize every patient’s dental experience. He believes that offering excellent care with skill and compassion is his favorite aspect of dentistry.
Dr. Rogers and his wife, Christine, have a son named Leo and a dog named Steve. In his free time he enjoys spending time with family and friends, and watching or attending anything related to Detroit and University of Michigan athletics.
Dr. Rogers is an active member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and West Michigan District Dental Society.
